Mirco Racing represents commitment to family, hard work, healthy lifestyle and cycling advocacy. Patrick and Linda have over 25 years of cycling, training and racing experience. Raising three children in this environment has allowed Nicole, Samantha and Tyler to develop a love of the sport and a competitive nature. With a life filled with commitments to training, soccer schedules, work, family and home demands it only made sense to create a family team.

It all began with a group of friends mountain biking together and then along came Granny Gear Productions 1994, 24 Hours of Canaan team mountain bike relay race. Patrick was on a four-man sport team and Nicole was the entertainment in the condo at just 6 weeks old! Yes, Linda was team and baby support! We have come a long way from 1994. Linda, Samantha, Nicole along with former teammate Sadie Decker had their own women’s sport team at the 2009 Granny Gear Productions 24-hours of Big Bear. Tyler provided team support to the women’s team along with Patrick’s Solo Race. Patrick pulled double duty racing for himself in the solo field as well as racing with the girls on their laps to offer support if needed. Now that’s dedication!

Over the years we have been instrumental in presenting various cycling events such as the, 24 hours of Killbuck, 24 hours of Mohican, Valley City Street Fair Road Race and various cyclocross races. Mirco Racing in 2011 started a youth initiative along with 331 Racing with the simple premise to get kids outdoors and experience mountain biking.  We have been providing skills and technical instruction to kids 15 and under so that they can develop a love for singletrack mountain biking.  2013 was the inaugural year for the Ohio Interscholastic Racing League (OIRL) which Mirco Racing, co-sponsors and provides endless support, including race director and race official servies. In 2014 Mirco Racing presented the Cleveland Gay Games mountain bike time trial event.  We have committed manyhours of trail development, maintenance and support to Vultures Knob and The Thorn Mountain Bike Trail. Patrick holds a USAC Coaching License, and is a Regional C official. Linda is a USAC Regional C cycling official.

The Mirco Racing team kit was inspired by Patrick’s father’s Sinclair and Texaco Service Stations which he co-owned under the business Mirco Automotive. We feel proud to honor family and commitment to hard work as we cycle through life!
